Chapter 116: Confessing My True Identity

Chapter 116: Chapter 116: Confessing My True Identity

Sitting in the car, Jasper Sinclair’s mind was filled with the image of Nora Northwood.

He wasn’t sure when it started, but gradually he began to see Nora in a different light.

From thinking she was materialistic and disliked the poor, he now admired everything about her.

The corners of his mouth unconsciously lifted, and he even felt his heart soften at the thought of Nora.

He wasn’t a fool; he naturally realized he had fallen in love with Nora.

Rushing back home, he couldn’t wait to tell Nora that Wendy Bell had lied.

Seeing Jasper Sinclair return, Nora was momentarily stunned: "Is everything resolved?"

He didn’t respond with words. Instead, he stepped forward and, before Nora could comprehend what was happening, wrapped her in his arms.

"Wendy Bell was lying. I didn’t touch her. That day, it was you who was with me; from the beginning to the end, it was only you."

He whispered softly at Nora’s neck.

Every word was sincere, making her blush.

Nothing is more joyful than having your feelings reciprocated.

She thought that being with Mr. Sinclair forever sounded like a great idea.

His thin lips descended, possessively capturing her red lips until she went limp in his embrace, only then did he feel satisfied.

Jasper Sinclair held her as they sat on the sofa, with her nestled shyly in his embrace, too embarrassed to raise her head.

After a long pause, she finally spoke: "I thought Mr. Sinclair’s heart belonged to someone else. I even considered living simply with Mr. Sinclair for a lifetime. Although life would be a bit ordinary, it’s very comfortable, and I like this feeling."

Her voice was gentle, carrying a hint of yearning for the future.

But Jasper Sinclair suddenly stiffened beside her.

"What if it’s an extraordinary life?"

"No way, I think that would be too tiring," she said nonchalantly, and then laughed at the thought: "The way you say it, I almost thought Mr. Sinclair had another identity."

"Don’t call me Mr. Sinclair anymore; Jasper sounds more intimate." He whispered in her ear, his magnetic voice sending ripples through her heart, making her catch her breath sharply. Then she heard him continue: "If it’s true, guess what my identity is."

Half-jokingly, half-seriously, he asked.

But Nora only thought he was joking, feeling in a good mood, she joked back: "Whatever it is, just don’t be a businessman."

"Why, is being a businessman not good?" His heart skipped a beat; does Nora not like business?

When it came to this topic, Nora shook her head: "It’s not that it’s bad, I just feel that most businesspeople are adept at disguise. I have a straightforward nature and managing my little studio is quite enough. Really dealing with businesspeople, I don’t like that."

"Is that so?" he murmured.

"Why think so much about it." She reached up to pinch his handsome face, and having opened up, even her actions became bolder.

Nestled in his arms, she wriggled around, and Jasper Sinclair was no saint, naturally having a normal reaction.

The next second, before she realized it, she was already lifted by Jasper Sinclair.

"What are you doing!" She was so embarrassed she didn’t know what to do, struggling to get down.

"Last time, you suffered because of the drug, but now we’re both clear-headed," his voice was hoarse, and he subconsciously swallowed.

The sexy Adam’s apple bobbed up and down before her eyes, luring her thoughts far away.

It wasn’t until she was laid on the bed that she came back to her senses, but at that moment, being like a sheep in a tiger’s den, it was too late to struggle.

After everything was done, he intertwined his fingers tightly with Nora’s.

Seeing the little one drowsy at the moment, he softly asked, "What if I said I’m the CEO of a certain company?"
