Chapter 129: Chapter 129: How to Prove the Child Is His
Wendy Bell left after she finished speaking.
After she left, Nora Northwood took a deep breath and sent a message to Jasper Sinclair, asking him to be careful.
At that moment, upon receiving the message, Jasper asked the company’s security to be more vigilant.
Before long, chaos erupted outside.
Wendy Bell came downstairs with the pregnancy report, saying she wanted to see Jasper Sinclair.
"Why won’t you let me in? I have something to ask President Sinclair, I’m begging you, I’m an employee here too!"
At this moment, she had completely lost her composure. On the way over, William Bell contacted her again, saying if the money wasn’t sent over by five o’clock in the afternoon, he’d sell her overseas to entertain guests.
Even if she gave up all her possessions, she only had five hundred thousand, still nearly half short.
"President Sinclair said you’re not permitted entry, and you’re no longer part of our company. You’d better leave now, or I’ll call the police."
The security guard acted as if he were dismissing a beggar, trying to drive her away.
At this moment, Wendy Bell was panicking; she had to see Jasper Sinclair!
Now she didn’t even want to use the child to threaten him, just fifty thousand for urgent aid, just fifty thousand!
Her hands were trembling as she took out her phone to call Jasper Sinclair, but she tried several times and couldn’t get through.
"Tsk tsk, if she had known it would come to this, why bother in the first place? If she had told me earlier she needed money, perhaps I’d have helped her out considering we were classmates."
Finn Linden stood with his hands behind his back at the window, shaking his head as he looked at the scene by the main entrance.
His words were truthful; after all, a couple of million wasn’t significant money to him.
It’s a pity that this woman was greedy, not only wanting money but wanting a person too.
That, he couldn’t do.
Retracting his gaze, he walked over to the drink table, poured himself a glass of wine, casually glancing at his friend.
"Are you really going to let her carry on like this?" He wasn’t sure what Jasper Sinclair planned to do, but if things got out of hand, it would be unsightly.
"She’ll leave when she’s tired of causing a scene." Jasper Sinclair didn’t even raise his head.
Only after signing all the contracts in hand did he give a glance down below.
Suddenly, Louis Hayes walked in looking distressed and said, "President Sinclair, downstairs Wendy Bell is saying..."
Lips pursed, he hesitated, unsure how to continue, eyes dodging and not daring to look at Jasper Sinclair.
"Saying she’s pregnant with my child?" Jasper Sinclair let out a cold laugh.
His long, slender hand carefully set down the pen. Though he appeared calm on the surface, the icy glare emitted from his eyes as he looked up made anyone shiver involuntarily.
Louis Hayes nodded, momentarily unsure of what to say.
Except for going home, President Sinclair spent most of his time with him, so how could President Sinclair possibly be involved with this woman?
"This is really getting interesting." Finn Linden watched Jasper Sinclair with great interest.
Didn’t expect Wendy Bell would take the scorched earth route, truly intriguing.
Though she seemed clever, her actions were utterly foolish.
"Come, weren’t you looking forward to the drama?" Opening the drawer, Jasper Sinclair took out a folder and strode towards the elevator.
Downstairs, Wendy Bell was still complaining that Jasper Sinclair was inhumane, when the man in question stood right in front of her.
"President Sinclair, I was wrong before, please save me, I’m truly desperate."
Seeing him come out, she wanted to approach.
Jasper Sinclair didn’t blink, while the bodyguard swiftly blocked her.
"You say you’re carrying my child? How do you prove that?" He didn’t directly dismantle Wendy Bell’s claim, instead asking with a question.
"I..."
