"These two are quite suitable!" Ji Xingmi looked at the two colors before her, one a dark green and the other a jade green. Her fair skin should be able to carry them off. She also picked out a dark red and black, both to be made into qipao styles. The tailor quickly drew a simple design sketch, putting the most thought into the black qipao, as he wanted to embroider a pattern on it. Ji Xingmi was very satisfied with everything she saw and began to look forward to the finished product.
Gu Jingyi only made one request to the tailor: that his clothes should look like a set with Ji Xingmi's. The kind that, when people saw them, they would know the two were a couple; in modern terms, matching couple outfits. The tailor gave him a playful glance. Ji Xingmi didn't notice what was happening here; she was looking at the clothes hanging in the shop. They were all quite beautiful, and the tailor's qipao-making skills were excellent. Each garment seemed to have had a lot of thought put into it, as did the embroidery on the clothes. She wondered if this skill was inherited.
Gu Jingyi nodded at the tailor, acknowledging his teasing. After finishing this, Gu Jingyi took Ji Xingmi to a place to eat, a place Ji Xingmi had never been to before.
"How did you know about this little place?" It was truly a small place, capable of seating only three tables, like a family courtyard, but it smelled delicious.
