Chapter 164: Two Men

Chapter 164: Chapter 164: Two Men

Leon Keane spoke and took out his wallet from his trousers pocket, handed a fifty yuan bill to Silas Joyce.

Silas furrowed his brows, thinking how could Leon possibly be nice enough to thank him? Turns out Leon just wanted to distance himself from Ivana Monroe. Silas instinctively refused to accept the money.

Leon Keane smiled and said, "You and I are not relatives. I can’t let my woman and child eat your things for free. I don’t like owing others."

Leon forcefully handed the money to Silas and then ruffled Timmy Monroe’s hair, smiling as he said to Timmy, "Say goodbye to Uncle Joyce."

Timmy blinked his eyes, thinking, "Daddy, is it really okay to do this?"

Uncle Joyce went to Wellbright Kindergarten to pick me up just now!

Leon raised his eyebrows, "Not okay? I don’t see anything wrong with it."

The father is the father in the end.

Timmy chose to stand by Leon’s side, innocently saying to Silas, "Uncle Joyce, goodbye."

Silas looked at Timmy’s pure little face, feeling deeply hurt, but ultimately, Leon is Timmy’s father, and they spend much more time together than he, Uncle Joyce.

Silas didn’t blame Timmy for choosing Leon. It was because he hadn’t tried hard enough. From now on, he would spend more time on Ivana and Timmy.

For Ivana’s sake, Silas would also let Timmy see that he would absolutely not be worse than Leon as a father.

As Leon led Timmy into the elevator, he threw the milk-flavored yam outside the elevator into the trash can.

"Daddy, why did you throw away mommy’s milk yam?"

"Your mommy doesn’t like these junk foods. You shouldn’t eat them either. Eat too much, and you’ll get cavities. If your teeth become black, no little girls will like you."

As the elevator was about to close, the little boy quickly pressed the open button, looking frightened, he also threw the half-eaten milk yam into the trash.

The little boy saw Silas, who hadn’t left, and he felt embarrassed for a moment because he saw the hurt in Silas’s eyes.

"Uncle Joyce, I’m sorry."

Timmy apologized guiltily. He didn’t want to hurt Uncle Joyce, he just got scared by his daddy.

"It’s okay." Silas certainly wouldn’t hold it against a child. He would only blame Leon. He bet Leon did it on purpose, deliberately gave him money, bought his things, and threw them away in front of him, then alarming the child to throw away the milk yam as well.

Leon Keane is an unqualified rascal, plus petty.

Leon reached out to pull the little boy into his arms, led him into the elevator, and said calmly, "Silly son, why are you apologizing to him? Didn’t daddy already pay to buy the things for you? How you want to handle it, it’s up to you."

The elevator door closed.

Silas’s mouth twitched slightly, holding tightly onto the fifty yuan, feeling like it was burning his hand.

Is this how a father educates his child?

Leon Keane is too arrogant and even teaches Timmy this arrogance.

Silas angrily thought, Leon Keane is an unfit father.

Leon entered the security code, and the metal security door automatically opened, the father and son quietly tiptoeing inside.

Leon whispered to Timmy, "Daddy will first go to your mommy’s room to check on her, then come out to prepare dinner for you."

Timmy looked delightedly at Leon, his handsome little face smiling and nodding. "Daddy is awesome! Daddy can cook dinner."

Timmy obediently went to his room to do his homework.

Leon went to Ivana’s room, gently twisting the door open, and walked in softly, seeing a delicate figure lying sideways on the bed.

Her eyes were closed, her breathing steady, she was sound asleep.

Leon stood by the bed, noticing how her long eyelashes slightly drooped, and there were faint dark circles under her eyes. He furrowed his brows, did she not sleep last night?

Leon really wanted to lift the blanket and turn her over, giving her a good spanking on the bottom.

Can’t he Leon Keane afford her? Does she need to work overtime?

He found out from Derrick Stern about her company’s situation, and Leon felt a bit upset with her for not asking him. As long as she asked, he could invest in her company.

Such a small amount is nothing to him.

Enough to revive her company.

Leon was mad for a moment, but seeing her sleeping so soundly, he couldn’t bear to disturb her, so he went out to cook for Timmy.

Leon opened the fridge, and saw the ingredients inside, feeling somewhat speechless. The most there were steaks and eggs, spaghetti, it seems Ivana can only fry these?

Leon found a supermarket flyer in the fridge where the fresh milk was placed, showing fresh vegetables and a delivery number.

He picked up the phone, intending to call, but hung up without dialing, taking out the steaks, eggs, and spaghetti.

Leon finished cooking and called Timmy out for dinner, then bid farewell to Timmy.

"Daddy, are you leaving now?" The happy expression on the little boy’s face vanished, looking somewhat disappointed at Leon, with little sad eyes, seemingly wishing Leon could stay.

At least, stay to finish dinner with him.

Leon apologized to the little boy, "Daddy has something to do."

Leon was reluctant to leave now, but he had no choice, to avoid Leon’s mother negatively affecting Ivana, he had to return to the old house early during this period.

Therefore, he couldn’t stay to finish dinner with Timmy.

"Alright! Daddy, goodbye." The little boy was very understanding, waving to Leon.

Leon was touched, taking two steps towards the little boy, hugging his little head, and kissed his forehead, "Good boy."

Ivana Monroe woke up, around seven o’clock the next day.

Feeling much better after a good sleep, she got up and prepared breakfast, calling Timmy to get up, brush his teeth, and eat.

After breakfast, the little boy blinked at Ivana and her Minion backpack, "Mommy, today is Saturday, no school!"

Ivana: "..."

Ivana rubbed her forehead, she really was so busy that she forgot what day of the week it was.

Since Timmy didn’t have school, Ivana took him to the company.

The little boy was very well-behaved in the office, Ivana saw missed calls on her phone, displayed as Leon Keane, flipping through, it was around three o’clock yesterday.

Did he call at that time to pick her up to get Timmy after school?

Ivana was touched, her finger wanting to dial back, hesitated for a moment, she gave up.

Dial to say what? Ask if he came to GK to pick her up?

Ivana couldn’t ask, it felt like she was coming to reconcile on purpose.

If he, like yesterday, asks her to make time, what should she do? Before the fashion show, she can’t accompany Leon Keane on any other engagements.

Because she’s now going to arrange personnel to bring the sample clothes to the backstage of the fashion show for preparation.
