Chapter 286: Chapter 286: Your Legs Can’t Move, I’ll Feed You

This little rascal.

Leon Keane stood in front of Ivana Monroe’s hospital bed, like a child who had done something wrong, seriously apologizing, "Honey, I’m sorry."

Ivana Monroe paused, looking at his serious apologetic expression, the discomfort in her heart vanished, "For dinner, you figure it out yourself! Timmy and I aren’t picky eaters."

Seeing Ivana speak, Leon’s eyes lit up, and he leaned down to her ear, whispering, "Honey, no matter what happens in the future, I’ll definitely put you first."

Ivana didn’t expect him to suddenly lean close to her and say such a suggestive thing. Her heart couldn’t help but beat fiercely, and her fair little face began to heat up.

The blush on her face was like a charming flower, Leon’s eyes deepened, feeling the warmth and enticing fragrance from her face, his lower abdomen tightened, feeling a bit uncontrollable in wanting to kiss her.

"Not here, the child is present!" Ivana blushed as she avoided him, not letting him succeed.

This man, he can still get flirty in a hospital?

"You’re too beautiful," Leon said softly.

Thus, in front of her, his proud self-control would turn to ashes, filled with desires to be close to her.

Ivana was so directly praised by him that her face blushed nearly to the point of bleeding.

Leon chuckled, leaving the ward in a good mood.

He returned to the ward about half an hour later, carrying a large thermal bag.

Leon placed the thermal bag on the dining table, and Timmy came running over.

"Daddy, let me help you."

Little Timmy eagerly helped out, and together, they quickly took all the food items out of the thermal bag: three servings of rice, and over a dozen dishes, half meat and half vegetarian.

Little Timmy Monroe exclaimed, "Daddy, you’re not good at managing the household! You bought so much food, we can’t finish it. It’ll be a waste!"

Leon reached out to pinch Timmy’s soft little cheek lightly, laughing, "Men don’t need to manage a household."

Timmy: "Ah? Does Daddy mean... women manage the household?"

Leon laughed again, "Women don’t need to manage a household either."

Timmy: "Then Daddy, what do you think men should know? And what should women know?"

Leon replied directly, "Men should know how to earn money, women should know how to spend money."

Is it like that?

Timmy looked towards Ivana, but Mommy didn’t say that!

Seeing Leon promote such materialistic values to Timmy, Ivana beckoned Timmy over: "Timmy, come here."

Timmy walked over to Ivana, "Mommy."

Ivana gently stroked his head, speaking softly, "Don’t listen to your daddy’s nonsense. Men and women alike should know how to manage the household. People who don’t manage their household well, even if they have abundant family wealth, can’t afford reckless spending. Understand?"

Timmy nodded: "Mommy, Timmy understands..."

Suddenly Leon spoke up, "Who said that? I don’t agree. Men are the shelter in the family. A man who doesn’t earn money can’t support the family through tough times, can’t become the refuge for his wife and kids, leaving them to endure cold and hunger. A woman who doesn’t spend money well just proves her husband is incompetent."

At Leon’s words,

Timmy became tense, "Daddy, in the future Timmy wants to be a man who earns money and becomes the towering tree in the family. Timmy doesn’t want to be an incompetent man."

Ivana disagreed with Leon’s view, "Leon, can you stop misleading the child? Just because you have money doesn’t mean other men do too. There are far more ordinary men in the world, working regular jobs. Even though their earnings aren’t much, their families are very warm. You have no right to disparage average men!"

Leon shrugged, "I’m not disparaging them, I’m just speaking the truth. If men want their wives and kids to live well, they wouldn’t settle for being ordinary."

Ivana retorted, "Having a wealthy husband isn’t always good either; one might attract unnecessary attention. It’s better to find an ordinary man and live a simple life."

Timmy blinked his eyes, glanced at Leon.

Daddy, you and Mommy are debating this topic, huh?

Now you’ve stirred it up?

Leon calmly opened the boxes containing the food, his demeanor relaxed, "Ordinary men aren’t necessarily free from entanglements either. But you’re right, most wealthy men tend to have more affairs. So you should cherish someone like me, a good man who doesn’t indulge in that kind of thing."

Timmy really wanted to give Leon a thumbs up, Daddy’s words were great!

Not indulging in affairs?

His first love came right before her, does Leon say this without fear of contradiction?

Ivana felt a sting in her heart; she hurriedly suppressed it, realizing it wasn’t a good sign. There’s a saying that goes: controlling a man is difficult, what a woman should learn in this lifetime is how to guard her own heart.

Protecting one’s heart means a man can’t hurt you.

Leon opened all the food boxes and called Timmy to eat.

Timmy suddenly asked, "Has Ian had dinner yet? Timmy wants to invite Ian to eat with us."

Timmy wasn’t aware that Leon’s mother and Ian’s VIP ward was just next door, but Leon knew. When he went out to buy dinner, he called Derrick Stern to join him, bought two portions, and asked Derrick to send one to the mother next door and Ian.

Leon said, "Ian is eating dinner now, just like us."

But Timmy is clever!

"Daddy, did you help buy Ian’s dinner too?"

"Hmm."

"That’s great, Timmy doesn’t have to worry that Ian will be hungry."

Ivana lay on the hospital bed, one leg in a cast, unable to move.

Leon picked a portion of each dish, and brought it to Ivana’s bedside, holding the hot rice in his left hand, and in his right hand, a metal spoon, first spooning a mouthful of food to Ivana’s lips.

"Honey, open your mouth."

"I’ll do it myself."

Ivana blushed, reaching for the rice and metal spoon in Leon’s hand.

Leon suddenly stepped back, not letting Ivana take it, "Your foot can’t move, I’ll feed you."

She’s not a three-year-old child; her foot can’t move, but her hands can. Eating by herself poses no problem.

Little Timmy sat on the dining chair eating, watching Daddy feed Mommy, he was so happy! He loves it when Daddy and Mommy are sweet and intimate like this.

However, Timmy didn’t show it because Mommy is shy.

Leon tried feeding twice, Ivana still wouldn’t open her mouth. In a voice raspy enough for only the two of them to hear, he said, "Honey, are you waiting for me to feed you with my mouth?"

Ivana was stunned, her face reddening again, "Shameless."

Leon chuckled, "You’re my wife, which part of your body haven’t I seen? Which part of my body haven’t you seen? Now talking about shame is too late."
