Chapter 332 - 33: Where Did He Go?

Chapter 332: Chapter 33: Where Did He Go?

Tatsumaki hadn’t even had time to react before she saw the silver-haired, heterochromatic-eyed boy snap his fingers.

Snap!

In the blink of an eye, the scenery changed.

Tatsumaki found herself standing on a slab of broken concrete. Surrounding her was a desolate wasteland of debris, and the heavily damaged alien mothership still hovered in the sky.

It was the same ruined City A from before.

"We’re back... Crap, that guy is still around!"

Realizing the situation, Tatsumaki’s eyes narrowed sharply as she remembered Boros. She didn’t even spare Ron a single word—immediately shooting off toward the Hero Association headquarters using her psychic powers.

Ron didn’t stop her.

With both hands tucked casually into his pockets, his enchanting heterochromatic eyes stared off into the distance, a glint of thoughtfulness reflecting in them.

"Boros’ presence has vanished. Has Saitama already taken care of him...?"

He chuckled softly. "As expected of the Bald Demon King."

"You probably never imagined, Boros, that such a monster existed on this planet."

Saitama wasn’t just God-level—he was beyond God-level.

Ron tilted his head up to the sky.

The wind sweeping over the ruins tousled his silver-white hair. A trace of regret surfaced on his handsome, youthful face.

"Boros, you were truly a worthy opponent. It’s been a long time since I’ve encountered someone as strong as you."

"It’s a shame I couldn’t defeat you. But if it were the me now... who knows who would’ve won?"

"If there were another chance, I’d love to face you again at full strength. But... I doubt that’ll ever happen."

"What a shame... what a shame."

Shaking his head, Ron sighed twice in genuine regret before his figure flickered—and disappeared from the wasteland.

Tatsumaki arrived at the Hero Association headquarters.

What she saw caught her completely off guard: the headquarters building stood intact, untouched. Several unharmed S-Class heroes were gathered below, along with a few reporters and Association staff. Even some A-Class heroes were present.

Some scientists had already entered the alien mothership, accompanied by heroes, and begun conducting research.

Looking down at the bustling activity below, Tatsumaki was dumbfounded.

"Eh?"

This... this wasn’t what she expected at all.

"Huh? Tatsumaki?"

Bang spotted her and called out in surprise.

The other S-Class heroes and Association staff also turned to look.

Descending from the sky, Tatsumaki landed and asked bluntly, "Where’s that purple guy?"

"Purple guy?"

Bang, Atomic Samurai, and the others were momentarily stunned.

"What are you talking about? Another monster?"

Their confused expressions didn’t seem faked, and there were no signs of any battles having taken place around here. Could it be... that purple guy didn’t attack them?

But why?

Tatsumaki frowned, even more puzzled.

Could he have reached his limit after fighting me?

No... no way. That guy still had plenty of fight left in him at that time...

Bang, noticing Tatsumaki’s strange expression, couldn’t help but ask, "What’s wrong?"

She snapped out of her daze.

The S-Class heroes gathered around her.

Superalloy Darkshine asked curiously, "What did you see up there? You were gone for quite a while."

Flashy Flash added, "Yeah, what exactly happened up there?"

Atomic Samurai leaned in. "That mysterious swordsman—did you see his face? What did he look like?"

Their barrage of questions was too much. Tatsumaki’s forehead twitched in irritation.

"So damn noisy!!"

With a burst of psychic energy, she pushed all the S-Class heroes around her away.

"Argh, what the hell? That hurt!"

Atomic Samurai rubbed his head after hitting the ground and shouted at her.

"It’s your own fault for being so annoying! Geez, you guys call yourselves S-Class heroes acting like that?"

Tatsumaki crossed her arms and gave them a sideways glance.

"If you’re so curious, why don’t you go find out yourselves? I’m not telling you. Hmph!"

With a cold snort, she floated off, leaving behind a group of S-Class heroes and Association staff wearing bitter smiles.

One staff member wearing glasses sighed. "Looks like we won’t be getting anything useful from Tatsumaki for now."

"She’s still got that terrible temper. There’s no reasoning with her."

Bang let out a helpless sigh.

"She’s too arrogant," Flashy Flash said with an icy glare. "One of these days, someone’s going to knock her down from that number two spot."

"Still... her power is incredible," Child Emperor murmured, clearly still awed by Tatsumaki’s earlier display.

Flashy Flash, with his long golden hair and the blade Shunshamaru at his waist, glanced at him coldly and then turned to leave without a word.

Child Emperor scratched his head as he watched him go. "Man, that guy’s as cold as ice."

"Well, let’s start gathering intel our own way," said a middle-aged staffer walking over with a tablet in hand. He looked at the gathered S-Class heroes and continued, "We’ll try reaching out to Tatsumaki again later. If we get anything useful, we’ll inform you immediately. For now, thank you for your work—please head back and rest. If anything else comes up, we’ll contact you."

Superalloy Darkshine, Zombie Man, and Child Emperor nodded in agreement.

Among the remaining S-Class heroes, Metal Bat, Watchdog Man, Pig God, and King had already gone home.

Puri-Puri Prisoner had taken Iaian to the hospital.

Drive Knight, Metal Knight, and Child Emperor had entered the alien mothership for investigation.

Genos, however, was nowhere to be found. His whereabouts remained unknown.

As Bang walked past Atomic Samurai, who was still sitting on the ground, he asked, "Heading back?"

Atomic Samurai stood, resting his hand on his sword. "Seems like things have settled down. Yeah, let’s go."

"Wanna stop by my dojo for a drink?"

"Haha, I won’t say no to that."

And the two left together.

High in the sky—

Tatsumaki flew toward City Z, still lost in thought.

Where did that purple guy go?

She had no idea that, atop the alien mothership, a massive crater remained—at the bottom of which lay a lifeless skeleton, completely drained of all vitality and energy.

Dead beyond dead.
