Chapter 333 - 34: The Eternally Mutated Immortal Physique

Chapter 333: Chapter 34: The Eternally Mutated Immortal Physique

Evening.

Downtown Z City.

The television inside a luxurious high-rise apartment was broadcasting updates on the incident that had just occurred in A City.

"Thanks to the valiant efforts of our S-Class heroes, the unidentified flying object that attacked A City has been successfully destroyed. Once again, the heroes have stood tall in the face of danger, shielding our cities from disaster..."

Water splashed noisily in the bathroom.

Completely unclothed, Ron stood under a high-pressure showerhead with his head tilted back and eyes closed, letting the water cascade over his face and flow down his godlike body—an immaculate vessel seemingly crafted by divine hands.

After taking the Perfect Ghost Mutation Serum, Ron’s body had evolved far beyond its previous state. Every physical parameter had surged, and now he possessed a body that could be completely controlled—immortal, undying, and without a single drawback.

For anyone else, this would be a cause for wild celebration.

Ron was no exception.

And yet... knowing that from today onward he was no longer human, there was still a shadow of unease in his heart.

The human mindset hadn’t faded from him just yet.

It would take some time.

A while later.

The sound of water ceased.

Ron stepped into the filled bathtub and slowly submerged his entire body into the water.

He closed his eyes and silently uttered in his mind:

"System, open the system panel."

[Acknowledged.]

A mechanical voice echoed crisply in his mind.

And with that, the detailed attribute panel appeared before Ron’s mental eye.

"Eternal Immortal Physique? A mutated result?"

Ron raised an eyebrow in curiosity and tapped to expand the description.

[Eternal Immortal Physique]

A special physique evolved from the Perfect Ghost Body through mutation, blooming with divine power. It possesses the following traits:

True Immortality – Even if reduced to a single cell, the body can regenerate.

Perfect Control – Complete and effortless manipulation of bodily transformation, including age and appearance. Aging is no longer applicable.

Combat Synergy – Body and offense are unified. Every physical strike carries overwhelming force.

Endless Vitality – Blood and flesh are filled with boundless life force. Regeneration is rapid and robust.

Ghost Creation – By sharing his blood with a human, Ron can turn them into a ghost bound by a curse, rendering them absolutely loyal. There is no limit to the number of subordinates.

Upon reading the fifth trait, Ron’s golden-blue vertical pupils flickered slightly.

This ghost-creation ability... isn’t it the same as Muzan Kibutsuji’s?

But then, he wondered—Would his creations still fear sunlight and crave human flesh?

If not...

Then didn’t that mean... he now held the power to grant others immortality?

An uncontrollable wave of excitement surged through Ron’s chest.

Eternal life—when faced alone—was little more than a curse. But if he could bring the people he cared about into this eternal existence... have them remain by his side forever...

That would change everything.

"I’ve gotta find a chance to test this."

Ron made a mental note.

Now that he’d fully grasped the extent of his newfound power...

He stepped out of the bathroom, wrapped in a pristine white bathrobe. After walking to the refrigerator, he opened the door and retrieved a bottle of wine.

Uncork. Pour. Drink.

In one gulp, he drained the glass.

"Phew..."

Ron exhaled deeply, the tension in his chest slightly eased.

While the news anchor’s voice continued in the background, he stepped onto the balcony. Night had fallen, and the city below was gradually lighting up, the streets teeming with life and the roads busy with cars.

From this height, the people looked no different than ants.

"Even after all that happened in A City, they just keep living as if nothing happened. Human beings are pretty tenacious, huh..."

Ron stood at the edge of the balcony, gazing down thoughtfully.

But deep within his mismatched golden-blue eyes, there flickered a chill—a sense of apathy and detachment he hadn’t even noticed in himself.

Humans do not pity ants beneath their feet.

And gods—aloof and divine—do not concern themselves with mankind.

Ron was gradually ascending that divine pedestal.

He simply hadn’t realized it yet.

After watching for a few seconds, Ron turned away, leaned against the railing, and looked up at the night sky.

The stars seemed close—within reach.

The warm twilight breeze ruffled his silver hair. He squinted against the wind and couldn’t help but smile.

"The breeze... feels really nice."

...

Z City – Abandoned District

Inside a dimly lit apartment within a lonely building.

Saitama and Genos were seated across from one another, quietly eating dinner.

"So it was you, Master Saitama, who took down that purple creature?"

"Well, kind of."

"That’s amazing!"

Genos beamed with admiration. "To defeat an enemy that strong... as expected of you, Master! You really are the strongest!!"

"You’re exaggerating a bit."

Saitama scratched his cheek. "It had already fought Ron by the time I showed up. It was probably just exhausted."

...

Z City – A Private Villa

"...So that’s basically what happened. Blizzard, that guy you keep mentioning—Ron—is extremely dangerous. You’d best keep your distance from him."

Dressed in a black robe, Tatsumaki sat cross-legged on the couch, arms folded, speaking with utter seriousness.

Having just heard her sister’s recounting of the day’s events, Blizzard looked completely dazed.

Ron fought the mastermind behind A City’s attack... lost the battle... fled into some alternate dimension with her sister... then his body exploded... only to reform as a silver-haired youth?!

What the heck?!

Tatsumaki, feeling thirsty, grabbed a glass of tea from the table and took a sip.

Blizzard finally snapped out of it and looked at her suspiciously.

"Sis... are you sure that really happened?"

Tatsumaki choked on her drink.

"Cough, cough!"

Turning toward Blizzard with a glare, her expression turned stormy.

"What did you just say? Are you calling me a liar?!"

"Well, it just sounds way too bizarre. It’s hard to believe, you know?"

"HUH?!"

Tatsumaki shot to her feet, hands on hips, scowling up at her significantly taller sister.

"Which part of what I said sounds bizarre?!"

"All of it, obviously! How does a person explode and then reform? That’s just not possible!"

Neither sister was willing to back down as their glares locked in a standoff.

A few tense seconds passed before Tatsumaki narrowed her eyes and said coldly:

"Fine. If you don’t believe me, I’ll just show you proof."

She extended a hand toward Blizzard.

"Give it here."

Blizzard blinked in confusion. "Give what?"

"Your phone, obviously. You’ve got his number, don’t you? I’ll call him over right now so you can see for yourself."
