Chapter 65: He Wants to Pursue Nora

Chapter 65: Chapter 65: He Wants to Pursue Nora

Aaron Lowell, as usual, brought some food for the two of them again.

If it were any other day, Lily would definitely be happy, but today her expression seemed a bit off.

She took advantage of Nora Northwood being busy to pull Aaron Lowell aside, raising her head to look at him with a serious face.

"Uncle, do you like Nora?" She asked with a serious tone, frowning.

Aaron Lowell was initially a bit embarrassed and didn’t want to admit it, but seeing Lily’s expression, he finally nodded heavily.

"Yes, I like her, I want to pursue her." His eyes were full of seriousness, which made Lily momentarily unsure of what to say.

"You know Nora is already married, Uncle, you can’t..."

"She and her husband are not together because of love. I won’t disturb her life, but if she wants to end the marriage, I will wait here for her."

His words were somewhat humble, even though he wanted to tell Lily that Jasper Sinclair was deceiving Nora Northwood, he ultimately didn’t say it.

Lily was about to persuade him more when they were just called by Nora Northwood.

She gave Aaron Lowell a warning look and then stepped out.

She had a feeling that the relationship between Nora and Mr. Sinclair wasn’t bad. Perhaps this was the destined marriage for Nora.

"Where did you go? You disappeared as soon as I turned my head." Nora Northwood looked at her curiously.

"It’s nothing, do you need my help?" Lily diverted the conversation and didn’t answer her question.

"Yes, could you help wrap some flowers? A customer came over there wanting me to recommend a sachet, I’ll go take a look."

After explaining, Nora Northwood went over to the waiting woman.

Seeing her come over only now, the woman’s expression was a bit displeased.

"Why so slow?" She complained, her eyes glancing at Nora’s ring, causing the woman to freeze in the next moment.

She looked unbelievingly at Nora’s ring, then raised her head to look at her face.

Nora Northwood was somewhat confused, "Is there a problem, ma’am?"

She actually recognized this lady as the one with Mr. Sinclair from that time, but the other seemed not to know her, so she didn’t mention it rashly.

Wendy Bell hurriedly shook her head, "It’s nothing, just didn’t expect you’re already married."

She found a random excuse, while in her heart she had already started calculating.

She remembered that President Sinclair wore this exact ring, could it be this woman is that mysterious eighteen million?

Nora Northwood smiled and said nothing. Wearing a wedding ring herself, it’s not surprising someone would notice she is married.

"You said you wanted a sachet, do you have any in mind?" She steered the topic back to sachets.

Her question prompted Wendy Bell’s mind to become lively.

"Nothing particularly preferred, just something calming and soothing." After speaking, she looked at the flowers nearby: "Miss Northwood, could you recommend a bouquet suitable for an apology?"

"Actually, sending flowers is about expressing feelings, it depends on what type of flowers the other person likes, catering to their preferences is what counts as an apology."

Nora Northwood always argued against buying flowers based on floral language; sending flowers that match their heart is normal.

As soon as she finished speaking, Wendy Bell let out a sigh.

"I don’t know what flowers he likes, they are for a man. We were supposed to be together, but due to a misunderstanding, I went abroad. Now, luckily, we’re working in the same company, so I thought to apologize for my previous behaviors."

She "accidentally" revealed her own thoughts.

Somehow, Nora Northwood only felt this lady seemed to have an ulterior motive behind her words.
