Chapter 60: Chapter 60: He Is Elaine’s Disciple
"Who are you?" Nora Northwood didn’t let down her guard. This person suddenly spoke up and startled her; truly, no manners!
"Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself." As he spoke, he extended his hand and smiled warmly at her, "Vincent Morgan."
She awkwardly waved her hand, "No need for a handshake, we’re meeting for the first time and I’m married, it’s a bit inappropriate."
Upon hearing that she was married, Vincent Morgan paused a moment, feeling slightly regretful.
But he quickly regained his composure.
"Are you also a fan of the master?" he asked again.
Perhaps after exchanging names, Nora Northwood felt more at ease.
She nodded, "I first got into The Perfumery Circle because I watched the master’s video."
Her eyes were full of longing; if possible, she also wanted to become as formidable as the master.
Seeing admiration in her eyes, Vincent Morgan simply smiled and said nothing, just then someone called him over.
"Sorry, madam, I have some matters to attend to. Hope to see you again someday."
He smiled, turned, and left, walking over to the woman who had just called him, noticing her expression was not quite right.
"What’s wrong? Who upset you now?" With this junior sister, Vincent Morgan was really helpless. Always with the attitude of a young lady; you never know when she’ll be upset.
"Was that person your friend just now?" Yuna Hughes probed.
Vincent Morgan paused before realizing who she was referring to, "Sort of, just met, a pretty interesting person."
After he spoke, he turned and went into the lounge, not noticing the flicker of displeasure in Yuna Hughes’ eyes.
Inside the lounge, Elaine was sipping tea in front of her.
She didn’t have a Western face, but a distinctive Celestian face.
Due to nationality issues, her name was Elaine, her mother was Celestian, so she was inherently interested in Celestian classical things.
"You seem to be in a good mood," Elaine raised her eyebrows and asked; it was truly rare for her good apprentice to be in such a good mood.
Vincent Morgan seemed to still be savoring it, "Met an extraordinary person, if there’s a chance later, I’ll bring her to meet master. You’ll definitely like her too."
Elaine didn’t respond, just smiled and pushed the teacup forward.
"I called you over just to confirm whether everything needed for the venue is prepared?"
"Rest assured, everything’s ready." Vincent Morgan patted his chest, assuring his master.
No one noticed the abnormality on Yuna Hughes’ side.
After a while, the organizer came to notify them to go on stage.
On stage, Nora Northwood stood aside, watching as things were gradually moved onto the main stage, her curiosity piqued.
"Next, let’s welcome today’s spotlight, the queen of The Perfumery Circle, Elaine!"
Once the host announced the name, everyone present went wild, enough to show the master’s skill.
As wisps of white smoke rose, Elaine emerged from the side with two apprentices.
Upon closer look, Nora Northwood was dumbfounded; so the man she was talking to was actually one of the master’s apprentices?
The other also noticed her, and smiled, casting a flirtatious glance her way.
"Oh my god, is Young Master Morgan looking over here?"
"I think so, but don’t know who he’s looking at exactly." The two women couldn’t hold back their screams.
Such an intense reaction made Nora Northwood feel a bit awkward, recalling the scene when Vincent Morgan greeted her at first.
"Everyone, I’m very happy to be invited to this event today, and I’ve also prepared a little game for you."
