Chapter 61: A Stunning Performance at the Banquet

Chapter 61: Chapter 61: A Stunning Performance at the Banquet

As soon as Elaine finished speaking, the people around started getting impatient.

Remembering the event from two years ago, the master had designed a similar segment, but unfortunately, no one won. I wonder if today someone will break that precedent.

Nora Northwood stared blankly at the stage, not knowing what little trick the master was going to play.

"The game is simple. I’ve prepared many sachets, a total of eight sets. Whoever guesses the most correctly, this perfume I’ve made exclusively will be the reward."

Seeing what the master was holding, everyone was eager to try.

Who wouldn’t want Master Elaine’s masterpiece?

"If anyone is interested, just come on stage to participate." Vincent Morgan directed order from the side.

After saying that, he even waved over to Nora Northwood. This move left Nora a bit stunned. She looked around to confirm she was the only one nearby before opening her mouth in disbelief and looking at Vincent: "Me?"

He nodded, and she hesitated for a moment but finally bit the bullet and went up.

Almost everyone who came to interact earlier was someone significant in The Perfumery Circle, unlike Nora. Most of them were designers or had family businesses in perfumery, so people weren’t very optimistic when she tried.

"Who is that? It’s my first time seeing her."

"I haven’t seen her either, but the qipao she’s wearing is a cheap one."

"Even Jade Lockwood from The Perfumery House couldn’t guess it, I think she won’t make it either."

"You didn’t see earlier; she was smiling so sweetly at Young Master Morgan, just like a vixen from somewhere."

"..."

People were chattering away, and before she even started, the crowd had already decided she wouldn’t make it.

Vincent Morgan frowned but didn’t cause a scene. He just walked over to her and quietly whispered to cheer her on.

Nora smiled politely and nodded in thanks.

Listening to the people in front of her sighing one after another, her heart tightened instantly.

It was finally her turn. Looking at the sachets on the table, she took a deep breath to steady her feelings.

"Don’t be nervous, just treat it as a little game." Elaine looked at the girl before her, not sure why, but felt a subconscious sense of closeness, soothing Nora calmly.

But she didn’t know that this bit of reassurance actually made Nora even more unsettled inside.

"Thank you, Master. I’ll start now."

When she opened her eyes again, her gaze was exceptionally resolute, her eyes gleaming with seriousness.

Lowering her head, she picked up the first sachet, sniffed it under her nose, and suddenly her eyes lit up.

She swiftly placed the name of the flower material next to it.

Seeing her place each one after another, Elaine raised an eyebrow, slightly surprised.

The second, third, up to the last one, without hesitation she placed the name of the flower material according to her knowledge.

People below the stage waited to see her fail.

"Wait and see, definitely an amateur; I don’t know who let her in, truly lowering the standards of the banquet."

The discussion was quite loud, and the sounds reached the stage, where Elaine listened clearly.

But as she looked at the little girl in front of her without any emotional fluctuation, she couldn’t help but feel a bit surprised.

She lowered her head to look at the test in front of her.

Six out of eight correct. A flicker of surprise flashed in her eyes.

"Are you from a perfumery house?" It was no wonder she was surprised. She had deliberately increased the difficulty, but didn’t expect the other party to be almost flawless.

Nora shook her head. "I’m not from any renowned house, just an ordinary person, running a flower shop, and perfumery is just a hobby for me."

She candidly explained her identity without feeling embarrassed about it.
