Chapter 45: Chapter 45: Yes, Yes, Mr. Sinclair Isn’t Jealous

Clearing his throat, Jasper Sinclair interrupted Nora Northwood’s words: "I changed it. The previous program had some errors, so I deleted and prepared to log in again. You can re-enter it later."

Speaking somewhat arrogantly, he actually wanted to ask about Aaron Lowell and her, but when the words came to his lips, he didn’t know how to say it.

"You." He started, his voice somewhat muffled, with a hint of hesitation in his brows.

Standing nearly six feet three, the man furrowed his brows and licked his lips, looking extremely uneasy, which left Nora Northwood utterly perplexed.

"What about me?" She poured a cup of water and drank it, then blinked as she watched him, apparently waiting for him to ask the next question.

Jasper Sinclair squinted, and after a long while, he seemed to make up his mind. He took out his phone and showed her the photos taken today.

"What is your relationship with this man?" Realizing that asking like this made him sound like a jealous husband, he quickly explained: "I’m not concerned whether you and he have an ambiguous relationship or not. I just meant that since you and I are married, you shouldn’t be entangled with other men."

When he finished speaking, out of the corner of his eye, he saw Nora Northwood pause for a moment.

Besides confusion, there were other emotions in her eyes, and after a while, she burst into laughter.

"Is Mr. Sinclair jealous?"

Who knew, as soon as she said it, Jasper Sinclair would explode: "Jealous? Me, jealous of you? What a joke!"

He raised his voice, breathing heavily as he walked aside, irritably looking at the woman next to him.

Utter nonsense!

Nora Northwood was not angry at his attitude, she just softly soothed him: "Yes, yes, Mr. Sinclair is not jealous. But I am not involved with him as you imagine. He is my friend’s uncle, almost like a senior to me. I was just repaying a favor by having dinner with him today."

Just like Louis Hayes said, she shouldn’t be lying.

With a cold snort, he slightly softened his attitude towards the woman beside him, conceding that she probably wouldn’t dare lie to him!

"But how does Mr. Sinclair have this photo? Was Mr. Sinclair there at the time? Since that’s the case, why didn’t he come over?"

She was puzzled; the photo was clearly taken.

Jasper Sinclair trembled for a moment, nervously picking up the cup to drink some water to moisten his throat.

"Ah, I was meeting with the company’s president and President Sinclair at the time and happened to see you. But I couldn’t come over since we weren’t finished, and that’s how I knew you were having lunch there and got a car to pick you up."

Once he finished speaking, Nora Northwood suddenly slapped her forehead.

There goes her memory; she had originally wanted to ask how Mr. Sinclair knew she was dining there.

"Don’t think too much. We’re already a couple, so I naturally have to get clear on whom you meet up with."

After he explained, Nora Northwood merely smiled and nodded: "Right, Mr. Sinclair is not jealous."

The more she spoke, the darker his face turned. Unable to hold back momentarily, she chuckled aloud, and later the sound grew louder.

Jasper Sinclair snorted coldly, ignored her, and turned into the study.

Closing the door, he grumbled: "I already said I’m not, this woman is so annoying!"

Just as he sat down to handle some files, suddenly Louis Hayes sent a link.

"President Sinclair, quickly check, is the person above the CEO’s wife or not!"

Momentarily stunned, Jasper Sinclair clicked on the link, but when he saw the content inside, his expression turned extremely unsightly.

On it, Nora Northwood was labeled as a gold digger willing to do anything for money. Although he said that, the content was clearly libelous.
