Chapter 115: What Exactly Is Going On?

Chapter 115: Chapter 115: What Exactly Is Going On?

The hurried footsteps entered the grand mansion, and Kiki realized that someone was back. She and Auntie Chamberlain tacitly shut their mouths, no longer discussing Ivana Monroe and that little brat, Timmy Monroe.

The two of them stepped out from the corner, and Kiki instantly saw the tall and extraordinarily handsome Leon Keane.

"Leon..."

Kiki called softly and affectionately, as if calling a lover that dwells in her heart. The way she looked at Leon Keane was as if struck by Cupid’s love arrows, eyes filled with little red hearts of love.

Leon Keane’s handsome face was taut, and he walked straight up to the second floor, seemingly not seeing Kiki. Even if he did see her, at this time, he had no mind to entertain Kiki.

Kiki and Auntie Chamberlain followed Leon Keane up to the second floor.

Leon Keane knocked on the storage room door: "Ian, are you in there? Daddy’s back, if there’s anything bothering you, you can tell Daddy."

The storage room was quiet, with no one responding to Leon Keane.

Leon Keane frowned, noticing Auntie Chamberlain panting as she ran over.

Leon Keane asked Auntie Chamberlain, "What’s going on?"

Auntie Chamberlain faced Leon Keane’s sharp gaze and trembled all over, not daring to hide anything. She truthfully recounted everything that happened after Ian Keane returned.

"President Kane, do you think it could be that young master Ian was bullied at the kindergarten... because young master Ian seemed different than usual after school today..." Auntie Chamberlain’s eyes reddened, looking pitiful and ready to cry.

"Leon, how about... calling the principal to ask?" Kiki, unwilling to be ignored by Leon Keane, suggested.

Leon Keane was very irritated; whenever Ian was like this, he as a father would be at a loss.

Leon Keane took out his phone, walked to the spiral staircase, and swiped his fingers to dial the Wellbright Kindergarten principal’s number.

The principal, upon receiving the call, was both surprised and frightened, but he did not know the situation. He immediately turned on the phone’s speaker and used the landline to dial the teacher of class one.

The teacher was baffled: "Ian Keane performed very well today; he answered three questions in class, got them all right, and earned three little red flowers. There was no conflict with other kids."

"Principal, you know that Ian Keane is the young master of Kane Group. Which kid at our kindergarten would dare to bully him? Besides, he’s quite tough, even Franklin Young was beaten by him and crying out loud..."

The principal immediately stopped the teacher: "I understand, you don’t need to say more."

The principal hung up the phone, sweating on his forehead. That teacher, really now, he wasn’t asking who Ian Keane bullied, why bring up past issues?

Making it seem like he’s complaining to Leon Keane about Ian Keane hitting people.

Leon Keane now knew the answer and was uninterested in hearing the principal continue. He hung up the call, his fingers rubbing his forehead, feeling a faint ache at the temples. After a moment, he suddenly thought of another little boy.

He immediately dialed Ivana Monroe’s number.

At this moment, Ivana Monroe was busy in the kitchen.

"Mommy, your phone is ringing."

Timmy Monroe heard the phone ringing on the sofa and ran over to pick it up, bringing it to the kitchen.

Ivana Monroe was frying steak and couldn’t answer the phone: "Okay, Mommy knows, but Mommy can’t pick up the phone right now! Timmy, please put the phone back where it was, Mommy will call back once the steak is done."

In about six or seven minutes, she would finish Timmy’s dinner, and in such a short time, calling back wouldn’t be too late.

Timmy smelled the fragrance of the steak and swallowed a mouthful of saliva; Mommy’s cooking seemed to have improved by leaps and bounds!

Timmy placed the phone on the sofa, waiting for Ivana Monroe’s steak, but the ringing had just stopped when it started again, continuously, like it was urged by death.

After approximately three to four minutes, the phone kept ringing and showed no signs of stopping, as if determined to connect.

Timmy couldn’t stand the persistent ringing anymore and simply picked up the phone, pressing the answer button, "Sorry! Mommy is making dinner for me, can you wait a few minutes? Mommy will call you back once she’s finished."

Leon Keane heard Timmy’s childish voice, paused for a moment, then said, "Timmy, your brother locked himself in the room again, could you come over to help Daddy, help your brother?"

Timmy was stunned, quickly replying, "Okay, Uncle Kane, don’t worry yet, Timmy will discuss with Mommy to bring Timmy over to the Kane family home."

He hung up the phone.

Leon Keane frowned slightly, "Uncle Kane"? Timmy wasn’t supposed to call him "Daddy"? Why did he change to calling him "Uncle Kane"?

Ivana Monroe finished frying the steak and brought it out.

Timmy held Ivana Monroe’s phone in his hands, his handsome little face showing no desire for food as he urgently spoke to Ivana Monroe.

"Mommy, Mommy, Uncle Kane’s little brother is in big trouble again. He locked himself in the room, refusing to come out. Uncle Kane says little brother has a kind of illness. Uncle Kane called earlier asking Timmy to help little brother, could Mommy take me to the Kane family home? Little brother is really pitiful, he doesn’t have a mommy..."

Timmy didn’t know what kind of illness Ian Keane had, but from Leon Keane’s words, he understood that this illness was special, difficult to cure, and also serious.

Timmy felt terrible thinking about Ian Keane locking himself in a room, torturing himself.

Ivana Monroe was reluctant to take Timmy to the Kane family home, even though young master Kane’s illness was very sympathetic. But Timmy wasn’t a doctor; how could his visit help young master Kane?

Ivana Monroe saw the little boy’s eyes redden, filled with urgency and pleading, and she softened, placing the steak on the dining table: "Mommy can take you there, but you must finish your dinner first."

It would take half an hour to drive from here to the Kane family home, and she didn’t want the little boy to go hungry.

"Mommy, you agreed? Timmy loves you so much." Timmy exclaimed happily, tears of joy streaming from his eyes as he wiped them away forcefully.

He sat on the dining chair, picked up the silver fork, skipping the knife, and voraciously devoured the steak.

"Eat slowly, eat slowly, you’ll choke if you eat like that."

Ivana Monroe really wanted to take back the whole piece of steak from his mouth, cut it properly, and then give it to him.

Timmy shook his head at Ivana Monroe, his teeth very sharp, devouring the whole steak in just a few minutes. Ivana Monroe handed him water, he took a sip, and then shoveled the eggs and pasta into his mouth.

With his mouth full of food, he tugged Ivana Monroe’s hand, the big and small exiting the home.

Such a small world.

Kiki never expected that Leon Keane’s last call was to Ivana Monroe.

She was crazily jealous in her heart, looking at Ivana Monroe coldly. She couldn’t believe that that woman, Ivana Monroe, could actually get Ian Keane to come out of the room.
